Bob has over 40 years experience in the Insurance industry, both with Insurers and Brokers. Bob, as Managing Director and Shareholder helped form Austbrokers Central Coast in July 2003. Bob, among his other duties, continues to service a portfolio of commercial clients.

Bruce, after many years in both the Life and General Insurance industries, started his own Insurance Brokerage in 1981. He was part of the commencement of Austbrokers Central Coast by the merging of his company, Smith & Humphrys, with Finsura Gosford Office in 2003. He enjoys providing great service to his large portfolio of clients.

Alison has spent the previous 6 years working in the chartered accounting arena, specialising in management accounting and financial reporting. As well as her professional experience she has over 5 years experience in office management and accounting in the commercial industry. Alison manages and co-ordinates the management accounting and finance area of the Austbrokers Central Coast. Alison is currently completing the Chartered Accounting program and is excited about joining the team.

Lyall, with his wife Mary, moved from New Zealand to Australia in 1983. He worked in various insurance positions before opening his own Insurance Brokerage in 1988, Gosford Insurance Brokers.  The business was purchased by Austbrokers Central Coast in June 2007. Lyall now services his client portfolio as a consultant.

After commencing in the financial services industry in 1969, John, with his wife Julie, established his own Insurance Brokerage in 1986. They sold their brokerage to Austbrokers Central Coast in October 2007, but at the same time taking on a consultants role with the company. John currently services his portfolio of commercial clients, some of whom he has been servicing for over 20 years.

Kirsty entered the Insurance Industry in 1991 as an employee of Claydon Insurance Brokers. Kirsty worked there intermittently for a few years, while she chased the snow around the world. She joined the Austbrokers Central Coast team in 2004 when Claydon Insurance Brokers was purchased. Kirsty now manages a portfolio of clients, providing advice on all aspects of their insurance.

Kerrie started her career in Insurance and served with various Insurance companies in varying roles.  Kerrie came to Austbrokers Central Coast in 2003 from Finsura Gosford.  With over 20 years Insurance experience, Kerrie services and maintains her client portfolio consisting of a variety of SME businesses.

Jess started in the Insurance Industry in 2005, joining the Austbrokers Central Coast team in late 2008.

Jess is enjoying building up her own portfolio of clients and is currently committed to providing competitive insurance solutions for her clients and tailoring their insurance programs to meet their needs

Michele has combined her Insurance career and family commitments over a long period. She is the proud mum of three boys. While working in the Insurance Industry, she obtained her Certificate of Accountancy and then completed her Diploma of Financial Services, becoming a QPIB in 2005. Michele assists Lyall Hood with the management of his client portfolio, has her own client portfolio and assists with our software system and the accounts.

Helen commenced working in the Insurance Industry after leaving school and has worked in various roles including claims, accounts and broking. Helen was previously with Smith & Humphrys Insurance Brokers and joined Austbrokers Central Coast following the merger. Helen assists with the supervision and service of Bruce Humphrys' client portfolio and in the overall administration of the company.

Shiralee has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years and joined Austbrokers Central Coast in October 2009 when relocating to the Central Coast. Shiralee assists Bob White in portfolio management and provides Austbrokers Central Coast clients with efficient business insurance solutions. Shiralee has the Diploma of Financial Services in Insurance Broking.

Adam started his career in the Insurance Industry with Austbrokers Central Coast  under a Cadetship in 2005. Upon successfully completing his Cadetship, Adam left the Austbrokers team to pursue other interests and in the meantime, has become a family man.

We are pleased that Adam has returned to Austbrokers Central Coast with great enthusiasm and is working closely with our senior Brokers while continuing his studies. Adam looks forward to further developing his skills and knowledge in our profession.  Adam is also responsible for the management of our clients claims.

Karen brings with her great enthusiasm, and a bright personality. Karen is processing for some of our more senior brokers and is gaining knowledge that will assist her in furthering her career with Austbrokers Central Coast.

Karen is enjoying her role in the insurance industry and is looking to develop her skills and knowledge in the industry.

Julie has lived on the Central Coast all her life and helped start John Tarrant Insurance Brokers in 1986, with her husband, John.  Julie also came to Austbrokers in 2007 and is still working with John, helping service their large portfolio of clients.

Brendan commenced his career in the Financial Services industry in 1997 and completed his Diploma of Financial Services in Financial Planning in 1999. He joined Austbrokers Central Coast as an Authorised Representative in 2005 and now assists clients with their Risk Insurance including Life Insurance, Trauma Insurance, Income Protection and other financial products. Brendan also assists businesses with their Superannuation plans and can arrange Financial Planning advice.

Kiara is one of the newest recruits here at Austbrokers Central Coast and has joined us straight out of high school.  Kiara brings with her a keen attitude and bubbly personality.

Kiara is enjoying gaining knowledge and building up her skills within the Insurance Broking  Profession.
